TRAMA
L’ex-poliziotto Billy Taggart, ora divenuto detective privato, viene ingaggiato dal sindaco per scoprire se sua moglie lo tradisce. Le indagini confermeranno una relazione extraconiugale della donna. Successivamente però l’amante viene ritrovato morto e l’investigatore Taggart si troverà invischiato in una sporca vicenda riguardante gli affari privati del sindaco e della politica del paese.
